ASOC1 (air support operations centre)

ASOC1 is the abbreviation NATO's glossary of acronyms assigns to air support operations centre. An air support operations centre is the element that executes airpower in direct support of joint force land-component operations. It works at the tactical level, next to the army formation it supports. NATO's glossary links the term to ATP-44.

Canadian Armed Forces doctrine uses the same concept.
