Automated Buyer Environment

The Automated Buyer Environment (ABE) was the Government of Canada's specialized client/server system designed specifically for federal procurement officers. How It Works

ABE functioned as a comprehensive procurement management system built exclusively for the government procurement community. According to the Supply Manual section 1.001, effective February 16, 1998, the system provided integrated functionality for creating requisitions, issuing purchase orders, managing contracts, and tracking procurement activities across federal departments.
